Adrianna Frick
Educational Consultant

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Adrianna Frick graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature specializing in Latin and a minor in English with an emphasis in American and British Literature. In addition to repeatedly making the Dean's List, she was the Departmental Honoree for her graduating year. As a graduate student in Comparative Literature at San Francisco State, Adri has had her scholarship published, been selected to present at a conference and is an officer in SFSU's Comparative Literature Student Association.

During her undergraduate program, Adri worked in a low-income preschool, volunteered as a teaching assistant in an alternative education high school, and taught in an after-school program designed to increase elementary school children's spatial visualization and critical reasoning skills through the game of chess. Her experience with a variety of student levels and topics has enabled her to adapt materials and teaching style to each student in order to ensure success.

Prior to returning to higher education, Adri worked in a variety of Network Engineering positions in the high tech industry. Occasionally she still assists friends and family with tech support, web and e-mail hosting, and web page design. Adri enjoys spending time with her family, husband, and cats. She also enjoys music, yoga, dancing and writing, particularly poetry.
