Curtis J. Pope II grew up in Bloomfield Hills, MI and attended The Southfield Christian School. Throughout high school he was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude). He played Varsity golf all four years and also tutored at-risk children in downtown Detroit.

Curtis recently spent a semester abroad at Peking University in Beijing, China. There he studied economics, political science, and Chinese language. He is currently in the midst of a 12-week internship program at State Street Global Advisors, where he works in the intermediary business group. He has also interned in the past at Smith Barney and at an international commercial real estate firm.

Curtis will be completing his bachelor’s degree of Economics this fall. He will be graduating from Gordon College (Wenham, MA) one semester early. In addition to his course work at Gordon, Curtis will also be preparing to sit for the gmat exam.
