Dan Unangst

Dan graduated in 2002 from Northwestern University, with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Radio/TV/Film. He made the Dean's List several times at Northwestern, after having been awarded a National Merit Scholarship while attending Ann Arbor (MI) Huron High School. As an undergraduate, he wrote several screenplays, directed and edited two documentary films, and was the co-founder and head writer for a student-run sketch comedy group.

After college, Dan worked for several years in Los Angeles as a screenwriter and professional reader for several Hollywood production companies. During this time, he also began teaching SAT prep classes at a private institution, which he found immensely enjoyable.

Dan recently moved to Chicago, where he has continued teaching SAT as well as ACT prep, both in a classroom setting and as a one-on-one in-home tutor. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, watching films, attending live music shows, and reading.
