Daniel Solarz

Daniel Solarz was born and raised in Culver City, a small suburb in West Los Angeles. After high school, Daniel decided to move south so he could attend the University of California, San Diego where he received his Bachelors of Arts degree in History in 2004.

While studying history during his years as an undergraduate, Daniel took an interest in economics and business. This led him to enroll into the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Riverside. He was awarded a Masters of Business Administration degree in 2007.  While pursuing his M.B.A., Daniel worked as a graduate teaching assistant and led two weekly discussion sections each quarter for undergraduate courses in Introductory Business and Strategic Management.

Never wanting to leave academia, Daniel began a doctoral program in American History at Claremont Graduate University in 2007. His research and teaching interests focus on business and economic history, especially during the decades following the industrial revolution.

Daniel currently lives in Pomona, California. In his free time, he enjoys following professional sports and politics, playing golf, and spending time with his family and his Chinese Shar-Pei, Jack.
