Elizabeth graduated from The Johns Hopkins University, Phi Beta Kappa, with an M.A. in Humanities, and a triple major in Psychology, English (with honors), and Spanish (with honors) with minors in Mathematics; Women, Gender and Sexuality; and Latin American Studies. As an undergraduate, Elizabeth served as president of the JHU chapter of Psi Chi (the National Collegiate Hispanic Honors Society), president of the JHU chapter of Sigma Delta Pi (the National Collegiate Hispanic Honors Society), vice-president of the JHU Modern Dance Company, and classical clarinetist at the JHU Wind Ensemble and the Peabody Conservatory of the Peabody Institute of JHU. She pursued extensive international studies in France, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Ecuador, Argentina, and Bolivia.

While tutoring and consulting with Vanguard, she is simultaneously pursuing her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at Stanford and tutoring and consulting for Tutor Corps, a tutoring company in the Bay Area. This summer, she intends to pursue research in Germany (at an institution to be determined) and upstate New York, at Cornell University’s School of Criticism and Theory.

She has tutored students with a variety of backgrounds from elementary school to the collegiate level. She teaches study skills curriculum, works with K-8 students in all subjects and tutors high school students in English (AP), History (AP), Spanish (AP), Economics (AP), Physics (AP), Biology (AP), Chemistry, and all levels of Math. Additionally, Elizabeth specializes in standardized test preparation and SAT instruction.
