Gabrielle Einstein graduated cum laude from Wesleyan University with honors in literature and film studies. After several years as a freelance writer in Los Angeles, she decided to change directions and pursue medicine. She is currently enrolled at UCLA, where she is finishing her premedical science requirements, and preparing for the MCAT. She has been a volunteer for Covenant House California for ten years, where her love of tutoring began when she taught homeless children how to read.
