Jodi DiGregorio
Educational Consultant
Jodi DiGregorio,
a New York native, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English
and Marketing from Fairfield University. Following her graduation, she
worked in the fields of journalism, advertising and public relations before
deciding to completely change gears and enter the field of education.
She moved to Boston in 2001 to pursue her education and recently earned
her Masters in Education from Boston University.
Jodi works
as an educational advisor for the Higher Education Information Center,
a non-profit group whose mission is to offer academic counseling services
to low-income, first generation college students. Her specialties includes
admissions, financial aid and skill assessment. She teaches a class at
the Boston Center for Adult Education titled, "So You Want to Go
to Grad School". The course focuses on how to choose the right program,
what to expect in graduate school and finding sources of financial aid.
In her spare time, Jodi is active with the Boston chapter of Fairfield
University's alumni group and Habitat for Humanity, plays the violin (not
well) and loves to travel. Her goal is to step foot on all seven continents
at least once. As of 2003 she has only three left to go!
