Kyle Stephenson

Kyle Stephenson was born and raised in Santa Clara, California where he attended Santa Clara High School, graduating 3rd in his class of over 300. Kyle was the first member of his family to apply to four-year colleges, and his academic success in high school gained him admission to every college he applied to including University of California Berkeley and University of San Francisco. Kyle chose Santa Clara University and recently graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and minors in communications and religious studies. He was also admitted to Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest honors society in the U.S. While at Santa Clara, Kyle was heavily involved in psychology research labs at his home institution and at Stanford University, performing his own independent research project that was presented at the Western Psychological Association's professional conference in 2007.

Tutoring has been a large part of Kyle's life, and his experience has ranges from homework help at a dual-language middle school (English and Spanish) to standardized test prep for college bound youth.

Kyle's eventual goal is to earn a PhD in clinical psychology, specializing in couples counseling and research. His other hobbies include playing drums (which he's been doing since age 9), reading, and traveling.
