Lisa Edwin strives to follow her own dreams and enjoys helping others follow theirs. She graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with an extensive background in the sciences and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. Lisa then went on to the University of Texas at Austin to study Sanskrit and Indian Philosophy, earning a Master of Arts degree in Asian Cultures and Languages. She has studied six languages in all, two classical and three Indian.

Lisa is also a dedicated teacher, having tutored in academic subjects and test preparation for many years. She has taught English in a Boston inner city high school and Indian language at the University of Texas.

Lisa enjoys writing and plans to write a novel about her family and her own experiences as an Indian-American. She is going back to school in the hope of becoming a clinical psychologist.
