Nick Tran
Educational Consultant

Nick Tran is an upper-division student at the University of California, Irvine. Currently, he is majoring in Biological Science with a focus on Neurobiology and in the future plans to go on to dental school. Nick took college classes from 7th grade to 9th grade; including three computer programming classes, one operating system class, one optics class, and one math class. During that time, he also digitized logical EE schematics for Chameleon Technology, a privately owned engineering company, until they sold their ownership to a bigger company known as AMCC. In 9th grade, he was enrolled in pre-calculus, and earned an A. From 10th to 12th grades, Nick focused on music and played in the high school jazz ensemble, orchestra, and marching band.

Nick's tutoring strategy is dynamic and adaptive for each student. He tries to relate everything he teaches while adding depth to each topic to ensure maximum understanding, guaranteeing increased performance on tests. Nick takes pride in his work and when he sees his students succeed, he is happy.

Nick's favorite past-time is reading epic fantasy novels. Other things he likes to do include exercising, reading about diet and nutrition, watching movies, and making new friends.
