Rebecca Halpin

Rebecca Halpin
recently graduated cum laude from New York University's Tisch School of
the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and English Literature.
She was on the Dean's List several semesters and received the Founder's
Day Award upon graduation. She spent a semester abroad in London, where
she studied English Literature from NYU-London and University College
of London professors.
Rebecca hails
from Houston, Texas where she studied Acting and academics at the High
School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA). She graduated in the
top 15%, was listed several times in "Who's Who Among American High
School Students," and was a National Merit Scholar.
After graduating
from NYU, Rebecca stayed in New York City to pursue a career in acting.
For the last four years, she served as the Youth Group Advisor at Temple
Israel of Jamaica in Queens, where she programmed events for 5th through
12th grade congregates and taught in the religious school. She also works
part-time at the Jewish Education Service of North America (JESNA) as
an Administrative Assistant in the Berman Center for Research and Evaluation
in Jewish Education.
In addition
to acting, Rebecca sings, dances, directs, choreographs, stage manages,
and loves speaking in funny voices and accents. She is a proficient personal
chef and enjoys knitting, reading "chick lit" and watching "I
Love the 90's" on VH1.
