Robert D. Woodley
Educational Consultant
Robert D.
Woodley is a graduate of Cate School in Santa Barbara, a small preparatory
boarding school founded in 1910 and committed to preparing a diverse student
body for the top colleges and universities in the country. Cate concentrates
on extracurricular activities as well as academics, and while there Robert
was a three-sport varsity athlete. He was also a member of the Cate School
Chamerata, an a cappela singing group. He has used his singing skills
as a Brother in the musical "Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat"
and as Tony in "West Side Story." As a senior, Robert was chosen
to be one of few prefects; students who serve as campus leaders and who
are expected to set behavioral examples for younger students.
Robert graduated
from California's Pomona College, with a major in Philosophy, Economics,
and Political Economy. He now works for Kaiser Permanente, where he instructs
doctors and other health professionals in the use of a new and innovative,
computer-based healthcare database. His interests include downhill skiing
and scuba diving.
As a recent
graduate, the college application process is fresh in Robert's mind. He
knows what it takes to get into college and he has the motivation and
ability to help others achieve their goals as well.
