Vince Kotchian grew up in suburban Connecticut as the oldest of four children; his first tutoring experience involved helping his siblings with their homework. In high school, he graduated in the top 10% of his class, and took a leadership role in an SAT prep class. He was then accepted into the Honors Program at Boston College, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.

Vince's work experience ranges from being part of a start-up company to working for larger corporations. For the last several years, he has worked in real estate, and is now pursuing a graduate degree. He has over three years of experience tutoring a variety of tests and subjects.

Vince's tutoring methods emphasize easy-to-remember techniques for solving problems. He helps students set specific goals and then works with them to measure their progress. His style is patient yet motivating.

Among other interests, Vince enjoys running, reading, playing and watching sports, and improv comedy. He lives in La Jolla and is available to tutor throughout San Diego county.
