Vanguard Education Consulting was founded in the spring of 2001 by a small group of dedicated educators. Those educators were lead by Michele Lucia, an educator with an unparalleled commitment to children and more than 10 years experience teaching students of all ages. Based on the dedication and expertise of our Founder and our Educational Consultants, Vanguard-Ed quickly earned a reputation for providing not only effective but unrivaled educational services. In 2002, Vanguard-Ed spread its wings and expanded to Los Angeles and Chicago. In 2003, Vanguard-Ed expanded again, this time to Boston and New York. The next year we launched in Atlanta and Washington, DC. Today, we are proudly serving students from coast to coast.

In the spring of 2002, Michele Lucia was featured in a televised interview focusing on the stress of the college admissions process (KMVT, Off Campus). The following year, Vanguard-Ed was asked to design and lead a series of presentations on "The Importance of a College Education Today" to students throughout the San Jose, California School District. In the years since, we have repeated this presentation more than 30 times. We have presented on various aspects of the college admissions process to students and parents at more than 50 College Nights nationwide.

We hope to soon be represented in every major city in the United States. We are proud to already offer a distance course that supports students both across the country and around the world. As we continue to expand, we will offer the same superior educational services that have gotten us this far so fast.
